How to make progress in your design career

• Make it a habit to revisit these competencies and discuss your performance with your manager. Ask others for feedback and seek out chances to challenge yourself to develop new skills.
• Collaborate with your manager to create a growth plan that outlines specific steps and expected timeframes for reaching the next milestone.
• To get an "Exceeds" rating, we want to see sustained performance at the next level up for an entire half. As a general rule, multiple "Exceeds" ratings signal readiness for promotion.
• You don't need to operate at 100% of the next level across all competencies to be promoted (~70% is sufficient).
